Shipping Policy

At Buy Arowana Fish, we take every step to ensure your live Arowana fish arrives healthy, stress-free, and on time. This shipping policy explains our delivery process, packaging standards, transit timelines, and customer responsibilities.

1. Live Arowana Fish Shipping Process

All live fish are packed using professional aquatic transport methods, including:

  • Oxygen-filled fish bags
  • Insulated shipping boxes
  • Temperature protection packs (if needed)
  • Secure waterproof sealing

Our goal is to maintain the health and safety of your fish throughout transit.

2. Shipping Locations

We currently ship to select domestic and international destinations where live fish import is legally permitted.

Before placing an order, please review your local import and pet ownership laws. You can check live animal transport guidance through IATA Live Animal Regulations .

3. Processing & Delivery Times

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

  • Domestic shipping: 1–3 business days
  • International shipping: 3–7 business days (depending on customs clearance)

Shipping times may vary due to weather, holidays, airline delays, or customs inspections.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, box size, and delivery speed.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Remote locations
  • Special permits or certificates
  • Express / priority delivery

5. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor your delivery in real time.

Please ensure someone is available to receive the shipment upon arrival to reduce stress for the fish.

6. Live Arrival Guarantee (DOA Policy)

We offer a live arrival guarantee for eligible orders.

In the rare event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival), you must:

  • Notify us within 2 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photos/videos of unopened packaging and fish condition
  • Keep all packaging materials until claim review is complete

Approved claims may qualify for a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate shipping details
  • Ensuring legal import permission in their country
  • Preparing a suitable aquarium before delivery
  • Being available to receive the shipment

Please also review our Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy before placing an order.

8. Delays & Force Majeure

We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by weather disruptions, customs holds, courier issues, or other events beyond our control.

However, we will do our best to assist you and provide updates whenever possible.
